Olympic Stadium

Run out to the stadium, battling through the storm that hit 2 hours north, to arrange a shoot for tomorrow. The size and complexity of the stadium is incredible.

However technology failed them on the opening ceremony night when 500 of the 1800 drones failed to operate the world globe was to be followed by Imagine and the lyrics of the John Lennon hit it worked a hundred times in practice but not on the night. We’ve all been there.

So much work goes on behind the scenes the 100 metres stretch is being meticulously prepared and they are practicing the hoisting and lowering of the nations flags, looks like Ireland won a silver medal !!

I asked where the Olympic flame was , it’s been moved downtown that l would love to have seen ……
